Working with the Enneagram for Psychological and Spiritual Development
The Enneagram is essentially a psycho-spiritual map of motivation that better enables us to see deeper patterns underlying our behaviour. One thing I love about working with the Enneagram is the potential it offers for self-understanding and change. It’s an excellent model for identifying both gifts and roadblocks to actualizing these gifts.
The insight we can get from the Enneagram model also helps us to address imbalances in our functioning and better use all three centres of intelligence (head, heart and body). It’s also an excellent tool for understanding others in your life.
Although I have studied with a few teachers, most of my training in the Enneagram has been with The Narrative Tradition.
